Every dog is carefully evaluated to ensure they are in a group where they're compatible.

We have two indoor and outdoor play areas at Fur & Feathers and guests will be grouped by size, age and energy level. Our goal is to provide a place where dogs can get exercise and attention that is vital to a thriving healthy pet both physically and mentally. Your doggie will not be lonely while you're away for the day. He or she will be a relaxed, exercised and a happy pooch that is ready to go home and take it easy. Our play areas have a variety of equipment, toys, top of the line beds for resting and thick rubber floors make it easy on our guest's joints while providing great traction and cleanliness. Our guests will be well supervised by our staff to ensure safe play at all times.

We pamper furry guests in West Orange & Lake Counties from Orlando to Clermont. Also serving the communities of Winter Garden, Windermere, Ocoee, Oakland and Montverde

All doggie daycare candidates must be:

• neutered or spayed
• not aggressive or extremely dominant
• current on required vaccinations
• using an effective flea & tick preventative

Doggie Daycare Hours

• Monday through Friday 8am to 7pm
• Early drop-off is available Monday - Friday (by arrangement)
• All daycare dogs must be picked up between 5pm and 7pm

Fur & Feathers closes promptly at 7pm Monday - Friday. If you arrive past the pick up deadline, we must charge an after hour pick-up fee to cover the additional staff required to stay later. The fee after 7pm during the week is $20, after 7pm they are boarded for the night.

Our lobby is closed from 1pm to 5pm Monday - Friday

Our Daycare Policies

Doggie Daycare Application $25
We require an evaluation which involves about a half hour assessment where you and your Dog are interviewed and then your dog is introduced to a play group matching their needs. At this time we review your dog's vaccination records to ensure he/she is properly vaccinated. After completion of the evaluation you will be given a tour of the facility.

Spayed or Neutered
To be in daycare all dogs must be spayed or neutered if they are 6 months or older.

Age
Dogs must be at least 4 months

Vaccinations
Proof of up to date vaccinations is a mandatory requirement. You must provide a copy or faxed copy of up to date vaccination history at the time of reservation and at least 1 week prior to boarding time period. Reservations will not be processed or confirmed until proof of vaccinations is provided. If you ask your veterinarian they may offer to FAX your dog's vaccination records to us directly at 407-905-6288

Required vaccinations are as follows:

• Rabies
• DHLPP
• Bordetella

Health
All pets must be on an active flea and tick prevention program of Frontline or Advantage. All pets must be in good health and have not been ill with a communicable disease within the past 30 days prior to boarding or daycare.

Temperament
All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will need to certify that their pet has not harmed or shown any threatening or aggressive behavior towards any person or other dogs.
